"Family Guy". That show is just wrong. Wrong, wrong, wrong. And I'm
*totally* addicted. I actually found myself rolling around on the floor
laughing aloud during one episode when the four male characters are
having a contest to see who gets the last slice of pie. The all drink
Ipecac and the winner is the last to hurl. They all end up hurling
uncontrollably while trying to converse. I'm usually not fond of really
low-brow humor, but for some reason, by the time they got to the dog, I
just lost it. (In another episode, the father gets into a running
"Die-Hard" like fist-fight with a giant chicken over miles of terrain
and several types of transportation. Brilliant.) I'm worried about my
mental health now...
Space Mountian has now re-opened. After a two-year overhaul, the
penultimate ride of my childhood (that paled as rapidly as I learned
about the existance of other theme parks aside from Disnelyand) has
been updated somewhat. I can't wait to find out what that means. The
last time I was on it (and it was only the second time in my life) was
in 1992. I get to go again in September! hooooo-rah!
That makes me think of Jen Lossner. She used to work there umpteen years ago. I wonder where she is and what she's doing...?
It's summer for sure. They're calling it to get even warmer in the next
week or so. I've never been through a San Diego summer before. I wonder
when it starts getting cooler? (Of course people around here tell me
that it's never rained through the whole month of June before, so it's
not like we can count on what the book on the weather says... Is this
an El Nino year?)
It's the end of Friday, so someone must have gotten the movie by now.
Hmmm, they probably don't bother on weekends unless there's a ton of
late submissions, so probably the earliest anyone would see it is
Thursday or Friday of next week. (Doesn't really matter, we'd still
have to wait for Aug 1st...I'm just in the mood to torture myself this
evening! heh!)
Tomorrow's Saturday... I wonder if I want to go visit Comicon? I could
take the train and hit the downtown area and see what's going on down
there. That would be a great way to kill a day...
Dum, de dum, de dum.... Hey! Did I always have a mole there? I never noticed that before...
